Bertie and Bessie were so happy
In their home beside a tree
Warren and Doug were little darlings
And the Bunny’s did agree
They’d have a bigger family
And this time they had three
Once again poor Bertie Bunny
Had sickness every morn
And his ankles were quite puffy
Until their triplets were born
Bessie coped with everything
Just like she’d done before
The morning they arrived
She’d been vacuuming the floor
Bertie took himself out walking
He couldn’t take the strain
When Bessie went into labour
And gave birth once again
First to come along was Lettice
Such a dainty little doe
And then came Stew and Hutch
Two strapping bucks you know
Bertie Bunny was delighted
And really proud as punch
As he hopped into the kitchen
To make himself some lunch
