Bertie Bunny got an invite
To a disco party in the wood
And decided to be brave
He thought it would be good
The dress code was informal
So he wore his blue suede shoes
And matching shirt and denims
He always felt so good in blues
He didn’t need to use a mirror
As he’d left those days behind
And he looked a bobby dazzler
The bunny years had been so kind
Bertie enjoyed the disco party
He danced until he dropped
He did the jive and jitterbug
And even bunny hopped
He saw a lovely lady bunny
From the corner of his eye
And he asked her out to dinner
And “yes” was her reply
Now Bertie is a happy bunny
And his life has just begun
