Bertie’s Burrow and Beyond

Bertie has a bijou residence
In leafy Bunny Town
It’s homely and it’s comfy
And it’s painted green and brown

It was a batchelor bunny pad
Until Bertie and Bessie wed
And now it’s been transformed
Into a family home instead

They’ve done some alterations
To make more room inside
For they’ve had a few additions
Since Bessie became his bride

There are curtains at the window
Bessie stitched them with such care
There’s a lovely mat outside
To say you’re always welcome there

They’ve got a little garden
With flowers and some veg
Bessie’s even planted geraniums
Along the window ledge

The Bunny’s are so happy
There’s so much love to share
In this corner of the world
Where laughter fills the air
